The 24th National Seniors Cup has set a new record with an unprecedented number of participating teams, an impressive tally of 144 teams hailing from 41 different cities are actively competing in a total of 264 matches.

The participating teams are categorized into two major Zones: the Northern Zone and the Southern Zone. The Northern Zone comprises of Central Punjab, South Punjab, North Punjab, Islamabad/Rawalpindi/Kashmir region, and the KPK region. Meanwhile, the Southern Zone consists of Sindh and Balochistan.

The 24th National Seniors Cup started in October 2023 and the National Final of this Cup will be played in March 2024. The matches of this Seniors Cup are being played in different cities of Pakistan.

Currently, the matches of 24th National Seniors Cup have been completed in the Central Punjab region, whereas the competition is in its decisive stage in South Punjab, North Punjab, Islamabad/Rawalpindi/Kashmir region, and the KPK region. The winners of Central Punjab, North Punjab and South Punjab will directly qualify for the regional Semifinals, whereas the winners of Islamabad and KPK region will clash with each other and the victorious team will make its way into the regional Semifinals.

The competition is at its midway stage in the Southern Zone where teams from Karachi and Balochistan are actively competing with each other. Whereas, eight teams from the Interior Sindh divided into two regions, Hyderabad and Larkana are also taking part in the action. The winner of these two regions (i.e. Hyderabad and Larkana) will clash with each other and ultimately one team will find its way into the pre-quarterfinals of the Southern Zone. The ultimate winners of the two zones will play each other in the National Final of 24th National Seniors Cup which will be played in Lahore in March 2024. 

A noteworthy aspect of the tournament is the involvement of former international and first-class players including the likes of former Test captain Misbah ul Haq, Abdul Razzaq, Muhammad Sami, Hassan Raza, Zulfiqar Babar and Aizaz Cheema etc adding prestige to the event. Additionally, winners, runner-ups, and top performers are recognized and rewarded with cash prizes, enhancing the competitive spirit of the National Seniors Cup.
