Karachi Knights will take on Karachi Kings with Over 50s World Cup selection on the line
Karachi Knights will collide with Karachi Kings in a bid to finalize the selection for the upcoming Over 50s World Cup which will be played in Cape Town, South Africa from 6th to 20th March 2023. The match will be played at Rashid Latif Cricket Academy ground on Sunday, 20th November 2022. The 45-overs per innings contest between the two teams will get underway at 9:30 AM.
In the following week, Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association will be making a final call on the Over 50s World Cup Squad. Top performers from the recently concluded 6th National Veterans Over50 Cup 2022, Sindh Over 50s cricket tournament and extraordinary performers from this match will be scrutinized and eventually considered for the selection of mega event.
The Veterans are vying upon assembling the best possible options in order to continue with their tremendous legacy on the international stage. It should be kept in mind that Pakistan’s Over 50s team remained runners-up in the inaugural Over 50s World Cup held in Sydney in 2018. Whereas Green team recently became the Global Champions at the Over 60s level of cricket.
